Middleton Division

August 2003, F. L. Crane approached ThyssenKrupp Elevator inquiring about any out source jobs that might be out for bid         (F. L. Crane property is located adjacent to the ThyssenKrupp Elevator Plant). A little over a year later, ThyssenKrupp asked         FL Crane & Sons if they were interested in building the skids    for their elevator plant in Middleton, TN. FL Crane & Sons provided pricing and on November 20, 2004 the FL Crane and Sons Skid Division was created. Later the same year ThyssenKrupp asked      F.L. Crane if they would be able to take on more projects. In   January of 2005 FL Crane & Sons began manufacturing the  platforms that make up the floor of the elevators.

 ThyssenKrupp Elevator now has many smaller projects coming to the F. L. Crane Skid Division on a daily basis.  F. L. Crane is located in the right place, offers a good price, and great service.  The Skid Division continues to grow by adhering to our company standards – Quality, Honesty, and Team Work.
