By integrating superior leadership and confidence gained in more than 50 years in the construction trades, F.L. Crane & Sons, Inc. has built its reputation for excellence in interior and exterior finishing, carpet ceilings and walls.  As one of the top 20 wall and ceiling contractors in the U.S., F.L. Crane & Sons, Inc. is also counted among the upper half of the nation's top 600 specialty contractors.

Founded in 1947 by F.L. Crane, the company is still family owned.  Second and third generations are involved in many phases of the day to day operations.  Jimmie U. Crane is Chief Financial Officer and his brother Johnny is Chief Executive Officer.  Chip Crane is Corporate President.

"When expansion opportunities presented themselves in the early 90s, we realized that we had a lot of skilled people who could rise to leadership," said Johnny Crane.   "We simply offered them responsibility and they stepped up.  Many of these had previously been hourly employees.  Such is the home grown record of our firm."

By assuming hundreds of loyal, skilled craftsmen and accessing ready inventories of construction materials, F. L. Crane has more than doubled its sales during this decade.   In addition to the headquarters in Fulton, there are other offices in Southaven, Cleveland and Jackson, MS; Austin, TX, Bogalusa, LA; Tuscaloosa, AL and Franklin, TN.

The list of contented clients is long and diversified. A few of recent unique projects include McRae's in Biloxi, the archives building at Delta State University, the Methodist Hospital in Jackson, North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Big Oaks Hospital in Hammond, LA, the Grand in Tunica and the Silver Star Hotel in Philadelphia.

The enviable reputation earned through dependable performance with associated contractors is a value which F.L.
