Chip Crane

Chip has been with FL Crane & Sons for over 40 years holding several different roles prior to becoming CEO. He’s spent his early years in the field as a laborer transition to becoming an estimator for our Fulton Division then later running our Fulton office as Division Manager and shortly after was named President of FL Crane & Sons. Chip was an integral part in helping with the growth of the company during the 90s. One of Chip’s biggest roles with the company was helping FL Crane & Sons transition us to becoming an ESOP company in 2002. This was a tremendous undertaking and paid dividends for setting the company up for future successes. To this day Chip is still very highly involved in the direction of FL Crane & Sons as we progress forward in adapting to innovated ways to make FL Crane & Sons one of the top specialty contractors in the Southeastern United State. During his spare time Chip loves to deep sea fish, do some hunting and spend time with his 3 grandkids.

Ty is the President of F.L. Crane & Sons, Inc. His ultimate responsibility and passion is to navigate the company in our continual pursuit of innovation, while maintaining the roots and culture that the generations before him built. As a fourth-generation company leader Ty is passionate about what has made F.L. Crane great in the past and is focused on leading the company to a place of adaptability to accommodate the changing industry and workforce. This adaptation has led to the company putting a major focus on becoming the first choice for CFS Load Bearing Construction, Prefabricated Exterior Curtain Wall Panels, and for Exterior Metal Panel Finish Systems.
Ty began his career at F.L. Crane in 2006 working in the field as a framer. While attending college at Mississippi State University he worked summers in the various trades that F.L. Crane performs. Upon graduation he began estimating a project managing, and from there moved his focus to improving the operations of the company. In October of 2019 he became President and focuses on being a servant leader to the employees of the company.
Ty serves on several boards, including MSABC, Mississippi State University’s BCS program, and an advisory board at his church.
He is married to Chloe Crane and they have two children. Edens and Jett Crane. Aside from work Ty enjoys hunting, cooking and spending time with his wife and children.

Kevin has been with FL Crane & Sons for over 28 years, and he first started full time back in 1992 as a field laborer shortly after he graduated from Mississippi State University. Once he transitioned into the office 2 years later, he started as an estimator/project manager he then transitioned into an assistant Division Manager for our Fulton Division under Chip Crane. From there he became Director of Business Development for a few years then received the promotion to Executive Vice President which is the titled he’s held since the mid-2000s. Kevin has worked with the Mississippi Chapter of American Builders & Contractors for his entire career with FLC and is also a past president of the organization. Outside of work Kevin enjoys golfing and hunting.

Robert Abney has been employed with FL Crane & Sons for over twenty years. Robert started as a laborer while completing his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University. Upon graduation, Robert began estimating and project managing projects in the Memphis Division. In 2001, he was elevated to Memphis Division President and continued to estimate in and around Memphis but placed an emphasis on Healthcare and Lean Building Projects though-out the Southeast. Some highlighted projects include LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bohemian at Biltmore Village and works at St Jude Medical Center. In late 2019, Robert was elevated to the role of Sr Corporate Vice President where he assists with blending of corporate requirements with the operational needs of the individual branches.
In addition to his daily duties at FL Crane, Robert is married to Ramey and together, they have five children. Robert served as a local and national board member for the American Subcontractors Association from 2008-2016 and served as National President for the term 2017-2018.

Cody Crane is corporate vice president and focuses on the operations of FLC and the development of its employees. As a fourth-generation leader of FLC, Cody has a true passion for the industry and its craftsmen. Cody has been involved with FLC since the early 2000s and joined the team full time in 2012. For the first 5 years he had the opportunity to spend his time working alongside some of the best craftsmen in the industry. It was in those few years that he really developed a passion for construction, and the people that bring the projects to life. Cody is based out of the MS Gulf Coast location. He spends most of his time traveling to projects assisting our customers, and our team to ensure we deliver a high-quality building and a great customer experience. Cody is also involved in industry associations and is part of a young professional’s group. It was in his young professionals’ group where he met his wife, Kristen Crane. Kristen is also in the construction industry as she is a second-generation leader at her family’s glass company. Together Cody and Kristen co-host a construction podcast called Couple Of Subs. When Cody is not working, or recording podcasts with industry leaders, you can normally find him on the water or at the hunting camp with his wife Kristen, and son Tripp.

Jim began working at FL Crane & Sons in February of 2019 as the Director of Business Development. His duties include working directly with our construction divisions to increase FLC’s brand awareness in the markets we cover along with a higher focus in our new markets. This brand awareness includes showcasing our new capabilities in the Off-Site Construction space as relates to our interior/exterior load bearing wall panels along with our prefinished exterior wall panels. Among some of his other duties include marketing FL Crane through advertising and our social media campaigns through our social media channels.
Prior coming to FLC in 2019 he’s got over 12 years in business-to-business sales experience in the office equipment industry with Ricoh Corporation which his roles were direct channel sales representative, sales trainer for Southeastern US marketplace, branch sales manager, and major account sales manager. He’s served in various community organizations as treasurer, secretary, and president of the Itawamba County Development Council and is a current board member of the First Foundation.
Jim is married to Anna McCullough, and they have 2 children. Lillie Claire McCullough and Jackson McCullough. Outside of work he enjoys being with his family outdoors, watching Mississippi State University sports, and being on the golf course.

Evangala Roberts is the CFO and Secretary of F. L. Crane and Sons, Inc and serves on its board of directors, before being named CFO in 2006, Evangala was the Controller. Evangala is responsible for maintaining the minutes of the shareholders and of the board of directors along with overseeing the cash management and financial operations of the corporation and its branches. Evangala began working at F. L. Crane & Sons, Inc. in 1980 as receptionist when she started learning construction accounting.
High School Diploma from Hackleburg High School, Hackleburg, AL. Attended Itawamba Community College.
Evangala has been married to her husband Ricky for forty years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. She enjoys binge watching Netflix, reading mystery/suspense novels and spending time with her family.

Jonathan began work as the Risk Manager at F.L. Crane in 2015. He performs reviews and negotiates construction contracts to ensure fair and reasonable risk transfer. He also oversees FLC’s insurance, bonding, and safety programs. Jonathan began his career after graduating Mississippi State University, 2010 with a B.A. Degree with majors in Finance and Risk Management. He met his wife while attending MSU and married in in 2012. After college, he spent five years as a surety bond underwriter where he performed analysis of provided surety credit guaranteeing performance and payment obligations of contractors. During his time as a surety underwriter, he earned the AFSB and CPCU designations.
Jonathan is married to Kristen Heering. They have one son, Knox, and another boy on the way. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and landscaping.
